Biography

Claire Nolan is a global nomad with a sculptor's soul. Her work is a visual diary that connects the raw power of the earth with the delicate grace of the human form. She collects places and fragments- driftwood, geodes, boulders, crystals, and casts statues within these found homes so each piece reads like a memory of a place and time.

She casts in hydrastone and builds layers of surfaces that feel excavated, as if each work has been uncovered from a long history. Her sculptures probe the space between ritual and ruin, flesh and mineral, the sacred and the everyday.
